Nike Snowboarding – Zoom Kaiju

For those sneakerheads out there who occasionally swap their kicks for a pair of snowboarding boots in the winter, Nike has something pretty special in store for the slopes this year. Nike is not usually known for dabbling. If they decide to branch out into a new area, they come hard and usually drop jaws from the start. They came out of the gate strong with the Zoom Force One boot, but now they are raising the bar with the Zoom Kaiju. Not only is the boot equipped with the latest in performance innovations, but visually, it also flaunts a street style not usually seen on a snowboarding boot.

It features a full-grain Black leather upper with Varsity Royal highlights, but that’s nothing compared to the stylish extra touches that really make this boot something special. If the Zoom Air technology and the Elephant print on the toe section of the mudguard aren’t enough, the Zoom Kaiju also flaunts some sections of Air Jordan V-style netting, instantly raising the sneakerhead appeal for these through the roof. If your trying to get fresh in time for the snow this year, it’s not going to get much better than these. Look for them to hit Nike Snowboarding retailers some time this fall.  Via CtotheJL.
