(IN)DECOROUS TASTE x Nike (I)D Shoe V2.0

Sneakerheads are on average far more fashion conscious than your average joe but we still probably need to offer a bit of background for this one to come into full view.  For those of you who aren’t frequent readers, (IN)DECOROUS TASTE is self-described as “Two parts documentation of the artistic process, one part images that interest . . . Authored by a 20-something with a more-is-more philosophy and a penchant for Bennison, bikers, lavish old interiors, rock crystal and rock stars.”

So Nike Trend and Energy Director Kristin Reiter got up with (I)D’s Lauren Tennenbaum and asked her to rebuild a sneaker.  Kristin said she wanted something along the lines of Lauren’s absolutely nutso spike heel and so she came up with something else to manifest the blog’s tagline, “What is good taste anyway?”  So how does a pair of Nike+ WMNS runners turn into one heel clicker of a red sequened wedge?  That’s a question for the Wizard of Oz himself, but we do have a photo summary of the process that follows your click on the jump below.
