Yesterday brought our best look yet at the upcoming seventh signature Nike shoe for Kobe Bryant, and now we finally get a thorough gallery of images to sink our teeth into. Here we have a detailed preview of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII, featuring an aesthetic right in line with the last few Kobe releases, but featuring some very interesting new tweaks. Aside from the raised horizontal ribbing lines on the synthetic upper and the debut of visible Zoom Air in the heel, the standout feature of the Kobe VII is without a doubt, the removable ankle bootie. The boot features some Pr0-Combat-esque padding with an adjustable velcro strap around the ankle and appears to wrap around the bottom of the insoles to ensure it stays firmly in place while on foot. The white/purple/black or ‘Inline’ color scheme fits right into the Kobe legacy and will likely be the first general release drop, but like with the previous Kobe models, it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing these in plenty more colorways to come. Check out a detailed look after the jump and let us know what you think of Kobe’s new signature shoe so far. via MarqueeSole
