NFL Feet: David Diehl – Air Jordan VI PE Cleats

David Diehl Air Jordan Vi Cleats 1

The 2011 New York Giants continue to push full steam ahead in the Playoffs, winning the NFC Championship Game in dramatic fashion and earning a trip to Indianapolis for a Superbowl XLII rematch with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. While not many sneaker stories have sprouted from the NFL this season, we did get an unexpected treat in the form of Air Jordan VI PE Cleats worn by New York Giants Left Tackle David Diehl, who has served as Eli’s protector since the QB’s rookie season in 2004. With two different Air Jordan VI colorways already confirmed for this Fall (the ‘Olympic’ and the ‘Gold Medal’), Diehl’s PE sightning could possibly point to more Air Jordan VI releases this year, continuing an interesting sequence of Air Jordan Retro releases following last year’s Air Jordan V. Diehl’s on-field Air Jordans had a Red and Black colorway in the two-toned color-blocking originated by the ‘Carmine’ release in 1991, so how would you feel if a sneaker version released? Check out some ‘snaps’ of David Diehl and his Air Jordans below and give us your Superbowl XLVI predictions! via Yahoo!.
