Nike Introduces Flyknit Technology

Nike Flyknit 4

Nike’s mission of building shoes from the ground up and around the anatomical shape of the human foot has been an endeavor that has been slowly perfected over the course of two decades. The goal of shaving off unnecessary weight and utilizing featherweight materials has been a concept evident as early as the Oregon Waffle, and even after thirty years of ideas and engineering, the all-new Nike Flyknit Racer shares the same epicenter of design keeping the pure needs of the racer at heart. Nike Flyknit technology is the result of a four-year mission of micro-engineering static properties into pliable materials, requiring an extensive team of programmers, engineers, and designers to create the proprietary technology needed to create the Flynit upper. The endgame? Creating the lightest, most precisely engineer running shoe Nike has ever made. Alongside the Nike Flyknit Racer (a marathon shoe), Nike will also release the Flyknit Trainer+, which weighs an astoundingly low 7.7 ounces. Expect the Nike Flyknit Racer and Flyknit Trainer+ to hit Nike retailers this July.
