Even at age thirty, the Nike Air Force 1 still has a load of untapped potential left to be explored for the future. As Nike continues to excel in engineering some of the most groundbreaking materials and manufacturing methods, the Air Force 1 will only grow alongside it – not only as the anchor to Nike Sportswear’s blossoming catalog, but as the go-to model for experimenting with these new innovations. The Air Force 1 has been Deconstructed, Bespoked, iD’ed, Hyperfused, VTed, and Workbooted, but continues to display a resilience unlike any other; simply put, it would be foolish to think that the Air Force 1 has any signs of slowing down.

This latest reimagination of the AF1 is called the Air Force 1 VT PRM Skive Tec – a premium-grade build done in seamless VT-fashion with a unique suede upholstery on the toe, Swoosh, and heel-tab; the piping along the upper, which outlines the design of the Air Force 1, is embossed outwards and creates almost an inside-out/negative image of the Air Force 1 (sorta like the Air Force 1 ‘Inside Out’ releases of the mid-2000’s). These two colorways of Grey/Red and Black/Grey are currently scheduled for a release this Holiday 2012 season, beginning as soon as next month. Check out both colorways of this unique Air Force 1 below and let us know what you think about this interesting Skive Tec concept!
