Nike Updates Twitter RSVP System

Nike Updates Twitter RSVP System

Twitter Rsvp Hashtag 1

There’s been talk for a while now across online avenues suggesting that the Twitter RSVP system Nike doors across the country are using for big ticket releases is a fairly flawed approach. Hit up any message board and you’ll seem someone boasting about whipping up a bot to essentially cheat the process and lock in their DM faster than any human could. As a response Nike has revamped the process just a bit. Now, instead of Tweeting out the hashtag to be used, your local Nike spot will Tweet out an image that includes the necessary hashtag circled (All previous rules regarding Twitter RSVP will remain the same). Think of it as sort of a captcha for sneaker releases. Check out this example from Nike Portland and tell us if you think this new policy will make shoes a little bit more accessible for the layman.
