adidas Gonz Pro – Holiday 2013 Colorways

Adidas Holiday 2013 Gonz Pro

With basketball and soccer having already given much to the foundation of skate footwear, it seems that running shoes are exerting an increased influence of late.  On the Nike SB side of things, we’ve seen several of their signatures remade in the likeness of successful runners.  Supra’s Owen might have been the earliest sign, as the relatively young skate brand reached out not into basketball, training or some other sport, but rather, a casual running niche.  The recently introduced adidas Skateboarding Gonz Pro is another example, this slip-on-able Mark Gonzales lowtop taking inspiration from the 1970s Azteca track spike, most notably the heel ‘x’.  These grey/green and black/white/gum pairs have gone gold and should be in stock at adidas Skate retailers shortly, so check out both from more angles below.
