Peter Saville x adidas Y-3 “Meaningless Excitement” Collection

Peter Saville x adidas Y-3 “Meaningless Excitement” Collection

Peter Saville Y 3 Spring Summer 2014\

Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto is adidas’ longest running collaborator.  His Y-3 capsule has been going for over eleven years now and it’s responsible for some of the more innovative lifestyle designs on the market over that time.  Now Y-3 welcomes its own guest designer, as the graphic artist Peter Saville comes on board to create the prints and typography used for the hilariously named adidas Y-3 ‘Meaningless Excitement’ collection.  This spring/summer 2014 set includes the range of standouts we’ve come to expect from Yamamoto, but these rival even Jeremy Scott’s craziest work thanks to a couple of sandals set on some seriously substantial wedges.  Click through for the whole capsule and let us knwo if you’ll be showing any of these off when they drop next year.
