Feelings Hurt: Frank Thomas Sues Reebok Over Big Hurt Retro

Feelings Hurt: Frank Thomas Sues Reebok Over Big Hurt Retro

Reebok Big Hurt Frank Thomas Lawsuit

The retro return of the Reebok Big Hurt is apparently one that the sneaker’s namesake, Hall of Fame hitter Frank Thomas, didn’t sign off on. According to TMZ, the White Sox legend claims that he had a deal with Reebok running from 1995-98 that allowed them to use his nickname to sell the shoes, with this year’s re-introduction of the sneakers obviously falling well outside that range. The lawsuit, filed in Illinois, has Thomas asking for profits made off any sales of the 2014 Reebok Big Hurt as well as the immediate ceasing of all sales of the shoes. Let us know if you think Thomas is in the right down in the comments and watch for updates on the Big Hurt debacle on Sneaker News.
