Earlier this year Drake was fined $25K for comments made at a concert about trying to convince Kevin Durant to come to Toronto (Drizzy still retains that Team Ambassador title so any talk of lurring players to one’s team is against league rules). And while nearly every team is trying to do something to convince KD to ditch Oklahoma City, there’s still a few years left before that can become an actual possibility. This Nike KD 7 apparently can’t wait as the GS look is fairly reminiscent of the Canadian squad’s original colors thanks to a bountiful helping of purple and black as the base while a bright red outsole finishes things off. And while it’s a stretch to think that this is some unofficial hinting of KD’s wandering loyalty considering it’s only a kids size run, it’s nice to see the vibrance continue in some looks to match NBA squads. Continue onward to check out more photos of the latest KD 7 colorway (note that while this is a GS release, the model shown is a preschool size so the final look may feature small differences) and be sure to let us know if you’re feeling this purple aesthetic in the comments.
