KITH To Celebrate Air Max Day With #KithNikeArtifact

Kith Nike Air Max Zero

Ronnie Fieg and KITH have big plans for Air Max Day. In an Instagram post aimed at teasing what the shop has planned, Fieg revealed an image of what looks like plaster molds of the recently unveiled Nike Air Max Zero untouched in all white. They’re working with an architecture firm called Snarkitechture to make it all happen. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this unique experience arriving next week in the coming days.

Update: KITH has released info regarding #KITHNIKEARTIFACT. Read their official words below.

via KITH:

In honor of the arrival of the Nike Air Max Zero, KITH partners with Nike and Snarkitecture for this very special release. Combining a major element of our KITH SoHo store with the rich history of the Air Max lineage, we have developed 100 custom casts of the Nike Air Max Zero silhouette, which are accompanied by exclusive packaging and 1 ticket. This ticket guarantees the chance to purchase 1 pair of the Nike Air Max Zero at KITH SoHo ONLY on #AirMaxDay (3/26). To communicate the timeless influence #AirMax has had on NYC culture, we have placed these pieces of history in vintage NYC Call Boxes on street corners that were significant to the founders of KITH growing up. Beginning tomorrow (3/21) and lasting until Wednesday (3/25), 20 casts will be placed at 20 locations throughout the 5 boroughs of NYC for 5 days straight. Once acquired, this iconic sneaker artifact is yours to keep. Each day, times will be announced via the @kithnyc Instagram. At those times, the exact locations will be announced via the @KithSet Twitter, signaling that the casts have been placed. Good luck, and happy hunting.
