The Nike KD 8 Hits Close To Home With OKC Colors

Nike Kd 8 Okc First Look 01

You already know what we’re in store for this season in regards to Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder. As if coming back from a year ruined by injury to the overwhelming expectations of an NBA Finals trip or bust wasn’t enough, KD will also have to deal with questions about his impending free agency. Nike Basketball is keen to all of this of course, which is why they plan on dropping an OKC themed KD 8 right before the regular season tips off. The Nike KD 8 “OKC” is a rather obvious homage to his current squad (unless you’re a desperate Knicks fan and want to spin this as some sort of hint that he’ll be teaming up with Melo and Phil in the near future). The woven Flyweave upper shows of a brilliant combination of blues and blacks while orange holds down the branding duties. Available October 24th in a full family size run, the Nike KD 8 continues to showcase an eclectic array of colorways early on. So far we only have a brief glimpse at the GS installment of the shoe as well as a pair of KD rocking the latest OKC theme on-feet to match those brand new alternate duds. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section below.
