Anthony Davis’ Nike PE Is Releasing, But Don’t Call It A Signature Shoe

Nike Air Max Audacity Anthony Davis Phatman Pe 01

Things aren’t going as planned for the New Orleans Pelicans, as what was supposed to be one of the Western Conference’s teams on the rise now sits in second to last place at 4-15. Anthony Davis has sat out a couple of games with injuries, but he’s still a force to be reckoned with – so much so that Nike’s taking him on the almost signature guy tour along with Paul George by rewarding them with a number of “PE’ retail releases atop different sub-signature silhouettes. The latest will be this Nike Air Max Audacity, outfitted in the Pelicans’ alternate scheme of University Red, Obsidian, Metallic Gold and White. The premium mockup features Davis’ “Phatman” nickname he’s had since he was a baby on the inner lining while a unique ‘The Brow’ insignia hits the tongue logo. Metallic Gold works wonders on the Swoosh branding while a speckled midsole clashes with a marbled outsole of Obsidian and White. No word yet on a release date, but check out more of Anthony Davis’ “Phatman” PE below and let us know if you’re a fan of his exclusive colorway by taking your thoughts to the comments section.
