Vans Is Releasing A “Top 3” Version Of A Classic Shoe

Vans Is Releasing A “Top 3” Version Of A Classic Shoe

The method of alternating color-blocking on each shoe is a trend that seems to be catching on as Vans is set to release the V36 silhouette in a “Crazy Check” theme. This upcoming release obviously has no connection with Jordan Brand’s “Top 3” aesthetic, but the comparisons can’t be avoided as this pair alternates the black and white on the medial sides and tongues. The mis-matching ends there as the lateral sides make use of the iconic checkerboard print while the signature vulcanized sole and red heel plates make their return as well. These will be somewhat limited in stock as a release exclusively at Japan’s Billy’s Tokyo on Monday, January 1st.
