Shoe Palace Celebrates 25th Anniversary And Their First Store With Vans Collaboration

Twenty-five years in the biz, and still going strong. Shoe Palace is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, and they’re extending the hoopla to its consumers by releasing a series of collaborations with the brands that have played integral roles in their growth into one of the nation’s most profilic retailers. Starting things off is a capsule collection with Vans that pays homage to Shoe Palace’s shop identity and their first-ever store on Bascom Ave. in the Bay Area (a shop still in operation today). The Old Skool and Sk8-Hi are built with leather and suede panels, the iconic checkerboard pattern on the medial side, and the distinct red Vans stripe to reflect the retailer’s chief color. Further notes of homage are seen on the lace-tips, which feature “Bascom”, and 25th Anniversary insoles. Additionally, two t-shirts will be part of the collection, with a nod to all the states where Shoe Palace does its business. The Shoe Palace x Vans 25th Anniversary capsule will officially release on March 24th exclusively at ShoePalace.com.
