Vans And size? Team Up For A “Factory Floor” Style 36

Vans And size? Team Up For A “Factory Floor” Style 36

After April’s release of a “Factory Floor” Vans Old Skool featuring an upper constructed of multiple different scraps of material, UK-based size? is joining forces with Vans again for another “Factory Floor” release, this time using the Vans Style 36 as a slate. Before Vans became the juggernaut they are today, customers at their first factory in Anaheim were able to custom-order handmade shoes in any color or materials they pleased, and that hands-on customization the brand offered in their fledgling days provides the inspiration for this new collaboration.

Based off of the “promotional pairs” that the California-based brand used to demonstrate the different color choices you could make while designing your shoes, the canvas upper features a retro blend of pastel colors, from pink to purple to yellow and more. The shoe’s white midsole is adorned with printed logos, another design feature that draws inspiration from early customization options, and the look is completed with a classic gum waffle outsole. These colorful sample-inspired kicks will release on the size? app and at all size? locations July 27th, and retail for only £70 (or about $92 USD).
