Jordan Unveils The Apex-Utility With REACT Cushioning

On August 22nd, we brought you a first look at an intriguing silhouette that appeared to combine one of the most iconic sneakers of all time with one of the most popular new elements in the industry. Originally billed as an Air Jordan 1 with React cushioning, the new Jordan Apex-Utility is nearly that. Sporting the upper of a Flyknit Jordan 1, its hero comes by way of a boisterous React technology midsole unit with a translucent shroud up top serving as window to its flexible upper. With Jordan Brand’s brand new mission of engineered lockdown at the forefront, adjustable heel straps lead to an incredibly customizable fit catered to each and every potential consumer. Flyknit Utility graphics serve as a lens into this iteration’s design process by way of detailed elements on its tongue and heel tabs. While pairs aren’t expected to arrive at retailers until sometime next year, you can grab an official look below and stay tuned for updates as we have them. While you wait, be sure to stay up to date with our Jordan Release Dates page for more on the Air Jordan 33 and other upcoming Jumpman drops.
