The Nike React Element 55 Tacks On Blue Soles

The Nike React Element 55 Tacks On Blue Soles

After debuting in relatively straightforward colorways when it came to market in 2018, Nike’s React Element 55 has been taking a walk on the wild side in 2019. We’ve seen everything from glistening metallic accents to diagonal checkered patterns, and now it’s arrived in a new makeup that features bright blue soles and an abundance of colorful details. The synthetic upper takes on an ever-so-light tan that’s contrasted with a slightly more sandy Swoosh for an elegant base, but everything else here is whimsical, wild, and fun. The eyestays, lacing system, and tongue attachment combine bright yellow, peach, and retro seafoam tones, while the heel opts for more of the same. Moving down below, a vibrant blue React midsole offers more welcome contrast, and the look is then completed by tan plugs. Although the 55 previously seemed to lack the compelling characteristics of its proverbial “big brother” silhouette, the React Element 87, alluring releases like this are sure to push it in the right direction this year and beyond. Enjoy official images below, and look for a release on Nike.com soon with a retail price of $130 USD.
