The Air Jordan 12 Goes International With New FIBA Colorway

The Air Jordan 12 Goes International With New FIBA Colorway

With the FIBA World Cup set to kick off later this summer, Jordan Brand has been readying special silhouettes inspired by the prestigious international basketball tournament, one of which is this new Air Jordan 12. As this year’s competition will take place in China, these global hoops-inspired sneakers draw from the host country’s signature vibrant colors for their accents. Pops of regal metallic gold are spread across the top two lace loops/midfoot badge, and bright red is used for detailing on the throat, tongue, and sockliner. All of these accents are then brought together by a crisp white tumbled leather base, which also features a blink-and-you’ll miss it tonal flag print on the mudguard. Gold Chinese characters grace the red heel tab, and an outsole with a black/red carbon fiber midfoot plate completes the elegant-yet-sporty stylings. Get a comprehensive look directly below, expect a release on August 24th for $190 USD, and for more worldwide-themed Air Jordans, be sure to check out the Air Jordan 4 “FIBA” as well.
