This We Are Cultivator x Nike By You React Element 55 Is Inspired By NYC And Bolivian Culture

WeAreCultivator and Nike By You recently teamed up to present 28 different shoes created by 28 different New Yorkers, each of which tells the story of the city in a unique personal fashion. One of those pairs is a React Element 55 “B2” crafted by Bolivian designer Fernanda “Fera” Schmidt, and it’s a shoe that acknowledges her past, present, and future, with a compelling tale woven into its bold construction. The “B2” nickname comes from the immigration visa that brought Schmidt to the Big Apple 6 years ago, and the colorway nods to the contrast between her two homes: the bright green base recognizes both the lush landscapes of Bolivia and the fashion scene of NYC, while the yellow and black accents nod to familiar taxicabs and bright city lights. Down below, a signature React midsole provides both comfy cushioning and scintillating technical style. These special Nike shoes are available now on Nike By You, and if you’re based in New York, you’ll be able to check ’em out in person at the Swoosh Brand’s 5th Avenue flagship as well. Grab a detailed look below, and stay tuned for more from this expansive collection.
