Seasonal “Wheat” Arrives On The Nike Air Pegasus 92

Autumn is wheat sneaker season, and this year Nike has added an unexpected entrant to their semolina-styled offerings, as the Air Pegasus 92 will join old standbys like the Air Force 1 Low and Air Force 1 High in receiving the recognizable makeover. The classic boot-inspired style is interpreted in a slightly different fashion here, with wheat suede on the overlays and tightly-woven wheat fabric on the base. The tonal palette is then broken up in bold fashion with a black suede Swoosh, while the plastic heel piece adds a little earthy gold into the mix as well. Down below, a shaped white midsole and gum outsole round things off both literally and figuratively. If you’re looking to add some fall flair to your footwear rotation but prefer a look that’s less bulky than one provided by most wheat Nike shoes, these old-school Pegasus are the perfect solution for you, and they’ll release at the retailers listed below soon for a reasonable $90 USD.
