Nike To Release A Camping-Friendly Air Max Tailwind IV

Nike To Release A Camping-Friendly Air Max Tailwind IV

The Air Max Tailwind IV, a classic Nike Sportswear silhouette from 1999, is back for another round this season this time in a brand new camping-inspired colorway. Perfectly fit for outdoor lifestyle, this latest offering forgoes its traditional leather and mesh constructions, and reworks its upper constructions with a trail-inspired woven foundation, with contrasts arriving by way of segmented canvas overlays dressed in an earthy olive hue reminiscent of military surplus duffel bags. Furthermore, deep burgundy accents adorn the Swoosh logos as well as the traditional mid-foot webbings to enhance these runners with a warmer element, followed by a black midsole and rocky-grey outsole to round off its stylings. With models such as the Air Max Bowfin having received similar stylings as of late, it’s likely that these materials and color schemes will hit other Swoosh silhouettes in the near future. An official look at these Tailwinds is available here below, and you can expect them to drop on Nike.com and at select retailers in the coming weeks.
