The Air MX 720 818 Adds Flight Jacket Themed Uppers

Fresh off the reveal of a military-inspired Air Force 1, Nike recently shared images of the Air MX 720 818 in a similar flight jacket-inspired colorway. The hyper-cushioned model is fairly new in the Swoosh’s lifestyle footwear offerings, but it’s being outfitted in compelling color schemes – like its Shattered Backboard-esque debut last month. This forthcoming iteration features a drab olive – reminiscent of the timeless M-65 field jacket – on its smooth, nylon upper. Keeping with the color green, the model’s plastic base is taken over by a richer, forest-like shade and further decorated by a black grid (perhaps as a nod to geocoordinates?). From swooshes to “MX-720-818” text, branding across this chunky model sports a bright orange color. If you’re interesting in copping these, you can expect Nike to release these before the year ends. For now, enjoy official images here below.
