The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Chaos” NBA 2K20 Gamer Exclusive Is Rumored To Be Limited To 2,200 Pairs

Rumored to be limited to 2,200 pairs, Kobe Bryant’s Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Chaos” in collaboration with 2K will be available to purchase for any NBA 2K20 player who surpasses the Mamba’s Christmas Day high of 42 points in a MyPLAYER Nation game between today and January 2nd, 2020. Similar to October’s “Bron 2K” initiative, those skilled enough to beat this challenge will receive an in-game rendition of the Heath-Ledger-as-Joker-inspired sneaker and will also have the opportunity to brag IRL by having exclusive access to purchase this “Chaos” pair via the Nike SNKRS app. Although this gamer-exclusive release carries darker hues than the shoes the former Laker-superstar wore on Christmas Day 2009, it equally evokes Batman’s face-painted foe.

Fans of the original “Chaos” colorway can find it getting the Protro treatment in North America come January 3rd, 2020, but for those either interested in this alternate version or simply seeking bragging rights, the NBA2K20 x Nike Kobe 5 Protro will only be available for a limited time and in limited quantities. If you fall into this latter group, may the gaming deities be ever in your favor.
