UNDEFEATED Crafts Traditional Tableware For The Asia Exclusive Nike Air Max 1 “Chinese New Year”

With Chinese New Year only a few weeks away so too is Nike’s pack of celebratory releases, dressing up silhouettes the likes of the Air Force 1, Kyrie 6, and more with patterns made in nod to the holiday’s rich cultural background. Though each loud in their own right, the Air Max 1 is undoubtedly at the helm with maximal pattern treatments, indigo-dyed toe boxes, and symbolic coloring strewn about with a heavy hand. And as the most energetic, it would be a waste to have its release be anything but — something UNDEFEATED is evidently well aware of. Helping out its Asia exclusive release, the imprint has gone above and beyond to craft their very own fine china, embedding their strike logo within the traditional patterns seen on a full tableware set. The plate, teacup, bowls, and utensils were all up for display at commemorative luncheon only a few days ago with attendees also graced with custom calligraphy and a filling meal. As a wider release has yet to be confirmed, expect overseas shops to be getting pairs closer to the Year of the Rat’s opening on January 25th.
