OAMC And adidas Deliver Grey And Off White Tones For Spring 2020

After borrowing Blood Orange for their campaign last year, OAMC and adidas have relatively flew under the radar with their collaborative silhouettes, dressing up the Type 01 and the Type 02 in tones that match this very attitude. 2020 is much of the same, though with much less color than there was with their inaugural debut, favoring grey and white along both with little in the way of contrast atop either.

The more simpler set of the two, which, for all intents and purposes, is a modified Stan Smith, takes tennis classics and throws into a realm of high fashion, making it runway ready with a sole unit that may better suit the Nite Jogger or adjacent runners. Blacked out almost entirely, everything from the smooth leather to the lining and stitch is filled to the brim in grey shade — it’s alternate following in the same execution but in cream tones. This two-part swatch even translates over to the accompanying Type 01 whose design stands more confidently on its own. Straps wrap the entire kit at the center point and over the arch of the bottom while mudguards appear with an almost 3D printed texture typed atop with its namesake. “OAMC” brandishes quietly along a backdrop of suede next to stitching of light thread and a pull tab displaced to fit along the lateral side.
