Nike’s Vintage Brand Ephemera Series Continues On The Air Force 1 High

Earlier this year we witnessed Nike’s design team reinterpret the Air Max 97 with vibrant decorations that entailed a collection of vintage logos. Being that it has now been almost two months since this appearance, it didn’t seem as though this same styling technique was going to take its talents to other silhouettes. However, that seems to be untrue because as of today, the Air Force 1 High is hopping on its train to keep the streak alive. For materials, the base constructions alternate its panels with stark black sections showing out in tumbled textures, and the white mid-foot and toe box panels selecting a perforated leather. The accents here are what do most of the talking though, as ephemera branded hits involving a mixture of retro and modern Nike fonts fashioned in half-circular repeating patterns are implemented once again. Similar to the aforementioned AM 97, these AF1s use their Swoosh logos to place these ornaments atop a mosaic backdrop colored up from fiery oranges/reds to hints of royal blue. For those looking to scoop up a pair, they are available now in most men’s sizes on Nike.com for $120.
