The Nike Adapt Auto Max “Anthracite” Appears With Green Splattered Soles

Like a self-fulfilling prophecy, Nike has exhaustively strived to improve self-lacing sneakers — a mission that started all the way back in the late 90s thanks to the fleshed out and highly optimistic film universe of Back to the Future Part II. And while the brand has brought back the Air Mag with the Adapt tech they’ve refined, we’ve also seen a number of accompanying silhouettes inclusive of the much newer and sleeker Adapt Auto Max “Anthracite”.

Already debuted in a handful of colorways, the model is currently poised to release yet another. This time, though, the upper forgoes the usual silver frame for one far darker, hinting everything from the toe cap to the swoosh and fastening fixture in a neutral black shade. Elsewhere, along the protruding heel counter and its connected tooling, the pair opts for a blue-tinged green, using it along much of the rear components while opting for an aggressive splatter just forward.

Grab an official look at these below and expect a release at Nike.com to arrive hopefully within the coming months.

In other news, a third Home and Away Air Max 90 has been revealed.

UPDATE (06/11/2020):
