Nike Brings Back The Air Max 1 Anniversary In Evergreen

Nike Brings Back The Air Max 1 Anniversary In Evergreen

Taking a brief intermission from celebrating their birthday models such as the Air Max 95 and Air Max 90, Nike Sportswear is re-routing our attention to the beloved classic that started it all — the Air Max 1. The “Anniversary” lineage — last seen in 2018 with an “Aqua” colorway and multiple restocks of its OG “University Red” option — is being brought to the frontlines yet again to introduce its latest rendition; one whose ultra-clean design is lead by way of a “Evergreen” hue.

Uppers of this Tinker Hatfield-designed silhouette keep their standard white bases and dusty grey paneling layered on top at the midfoot/heels in tact, allowing the titular tone to do most of the talking. Its mudguards, first set of lace loops, and areas of Nike branding are all identically swathed in a lush green, all of which are mated down below with its traditional white midsoles and translucent Air units. Peep a first look here, and find these dropping likely within the coming months on Nike.com and select retailers for $140.

For other news, here’s a detailed look at the Air Jordan 1 High Dark Mocha.
