Joe Freshgoods Reveals T-Shirt Inspired Converse Chuck 70 Collaboration

Joe Freshgoods Reveals T-Shirt Inspired Converse Chuck 70 Collaboration

Earlier in the year, Joe Freshgoods released what was arguably one of the best New Balance collaborations to grace All-Star Weekend. And with his next footwear project, the designer is linking up with yet another Boston-based institution: Converse.

Their forthcoming Chuck 70, whose box proclaims its legitimacy, is inspired by T-Shirts, Joe Freshgoods bread and butter. Across the canvas upper, many a print comes into play, spliced together in a patchwork fashion. Forward on one foot, smiley face motifs are accented with petals as if flowers, their tones loud in shades of both green and blue. Adjacent, the mid-panel then grounds in a dark purple tie-dye, while the side opposite uses acid wash and even wildly different palettes.

For a quick peek at the release, check below. Joe Freshgoods, along with some on-foot looks, has shared confirmation on the pair’s Holiday 2020 release.

In other news, some BAPE Vans Customs are currently on the way.
