The Nike Blazer Mid Rebel Returns For Spring Festival With Full Tearaway Upper

Tearway uppers are (and seemingly will never cease to be) all the rage, as Nike continues to make use of it across many of their flagship releases. And for this year’s Spring Festival, the execution is being applied atop the Blazer Mid Rebel for a floral and unequivocally loud celebration.

Before any distressing is done at all, the pair is already quite interesting in its mix material composition and bold palette. Slightly quilted along its side, the base construction bears a silken fabric that is expected to be torn off to reveal a pink velvet that matches both the color and texture of the Swoosh stitched on over top. Off-kilter lace units, robust suede panels, medial-placed metallic zippers, and some on-theme insignia then round off this homage to Chinese New Year.

Grab a look at all the details below and expect to find it at Nike.com possibly this month.

In other news, a Grey Daybreak Type does away with the model’s trend of bold colors.
