Hanon Adds Another Chapter To Its Diadora N.9000 Saga With The “Alternative Route”

Hanon Adds Another Chapter To Its Diadora N.9000 Saga With The “Alternative Route”

A year-long story arc to keep an eye on, if you’re a fan of retro runners, is the 30th Anniversary of the Diadora N.9000. At one point, the Italian-made classic was among the most coveted originals in the mid-2010s, much in part due to the outstanding shop collaborations put forth by the likes of Packer’s “Purple Tape”, BAIT’s “Notti Veneziane”, Concepts’ “Lire”, Hanon’s “Saturday Special”, and select few others. It appears that the shop collab route will be another path that the sportswear brand will explore in 2021 as UK’s Hanon reveals the “Alternative Route”, a B Side of sorts that was part of the conceptual stages of their 2014 release.

Inspired by the emergence of casual football culture and Italian sportswear trends in the UK, Hanon applies a similar blend of bright and dark teals and sharp red, with grey heel blocking and a blac tongue offering up a new perspective on that original concept. Coming with the shoes are three lace options gold foil labes, a printed cotton dustbag, and a special shoebox.

Enter the raffle now directly at Hanon from now through January 29th, 2021.
