Nike Air Max 95 “Surplus Supply” Adds Cargo Stow Pocket On Tongues

Nike Air Max 95 “Surplus Supply” Adds Cargo Stow Pocket On Tongues

Thanks to Travis Scott — and the Skunk Dunks, arguably — stash pockets are gradually becoming a welcome addition on sneakers. And if you don’t want to shell out quite a bit for La Flame’s Air Jordan 6, then you can pick up inline alternatives like the upcoming Air Max 95 “Surplus Supply.”

In both theme and utility, this AM95 bears quite a resemblance to the aforementioned collab. The cargo pocket itself is relatively similar, though it sits here along the tongue with white canvas tabs and some black-dressed, military-styled type. Elsewhere, a number of materials compose the exterior, most of the side panels tinged in an olive similar to the compartment adjacent. A touch of see-through synthetic adds variance a bit more up, while the toe cap and lowest layer contrast in their velvety green suedes. What’s more, the miniature Swoosh forward and the text along the Air Unit color a hi-vis orange, a touch that likely references the ever-iconic MA-1 flight jacket.

For a look at all the details, see the official images below. Currently, retailers in Asia are reporting a March 19th release date; A US launch via Nike.com and other stockists is sure to follow not too long after.
