The Saucony Jazz Court RFG Is The Brand’s First Sustainable Sneaker

The Saucony Jazz Court RFG Is The Brand’s First Sustainable Sneaker

As global players in the footwear and apparel spaces work to minimize their impact on the planet, Saucony has revealed its first 100% natural, sustainable sneaker: the Jazz Court RFG.

Known for iconic silhouettes like the Jazz 81, the Waltham, Mass.-based manufacturer has applied its careful craftsmanship to its newest proposition. Sleeker than the aforementioned icon, the Jazz Court RFG features just seven natural materials and zero plastic. Cotton, jute, wool, wood, gardenia, beet and rubber work in-tandem to create a low-top, smart unisex shoe. An understated white, beige and brown color palette further play into the new shoes’ natural construction and versatile aesthetic.

“The Jazz Court RFG makes a big statement about what we are actually doing to bring goodness to the world,” said Andrea Paulson, Director of Product Engineering. “[I]t’s our responsibility to create award-winning performance footwear and apparel while protecting our planet.”

Enjoy images of Saucony’s first-ever sustainable sneaker here below, and find pairs hitting the company’s webstore soon with a $130 USD price tag.
