The Nike React Infinity Run 2 Flyknit “72” Pairs Shades Of Navy With Retro Flair

The Nike React Infinity Run 2 Flyknit “72” Pairs Shades Of Navy With Retro Flair

The Nike React Infinity Run 2 Flyknit is among the brand’s newer running propositions, but it’s harkening back to its category’s roots with an upcoming “72” release.

Accompanied by a Nike Cortez and ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2, the forthcoming model indulges in eye-catching, retro shades of yellow, green and red. Unlike the aforementioned silhouettes, however, the Nike React-cushioned take heavily features navy throughout its FlyKnit upper. Off-white components across the mid-foot and on the tongue work in-tandem with the blueish tones to create an arrangement reminiscent of the sashiko styles seen from the brand over the last year. A “72” insignia appears on the lateral heel, a call-out to the Eugene, Ore. trails in June 1972, during which Nike Running made a name for itself via the Waffle “Moon Shoe”. Outsoles on the Infinity Run 2 boast an amber hue that complements the off-white React midsole well.

Enjoy official images of the shoes here below, and anticipate a Nike.com release before June ends.

Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, the Air Max 95 has recently emerged in a handful of summer-ready colorways.
