The New Balance R770, Made From Recycled Surplus, Returns In Multi-Colored Mix

Traditional these New Balance R770s are not. Born from recycled, surplus materials, this pair subverts many of the brand’s usual aesthetics, all while furthering NB’s sustainable efforts. What’s more, they arrive fresh from the factory in Flimby, Cumbria, every shoe marked with the “Made in UK” seal of quality.

First introduced by way of SNS last month, the R770 returns with a new selection of swatches, fabrics, and colors. Gone are the loud camos and here arrives a subdued arrangement of solid tones. Panels of deep brown suedes overlay across the profile and toe, complementing the navy mesh that lies directly underneath. “N” logos sit by their lonesome along the lateral, flaunting a dark purple like the “New Balance” spelling directly opposite. Subtle bits of salmon pink and yellow dress the rear and forefoot, respectively, rounding off the upper alongside the cream/white eye stays and tan counter.

For a comprehensive look, see the official images below. A release is marked as “Coming Soon” via NewBalance.com.

In other news, the Nike Dunk Low Lemon Drop is hitting retailers later this month.
