Jovani Hernandez Throughout its 36-year-old history, Peter Moore’s iconic Nike Dunk Low design has been outfitted in countless ensembles inspired by everything from legendary hip-hop groups to American university athletics. Before closing out yet another highly-visible year, the low-top silhouette will celebrate the winter solstice.
Set to launch outside of Nike SNKRS (at least stateside), the pair indulges in an eye-catching “Team Orange” and “Crimson Bliss” color palette appropriate for the aforementioned natural phenomenon. Graphic of the sun and its rays are embroidered all-throughout the Nike Dunk‘s upper, with the former star marking its territory – partly-hidden – on the heels. Furthermore, right shoes don a tongue label that calls out the event, which will take place on “21.12.21” or December 21st, 2021 for those in the U.S.A. Despite featuring a bold makeup throughout its top-half, the upcoming sneakers also opt for some vibrant flair underfoot, covering the Air Jordan 1 Low-reminiscent tread in the titular “Team Orange” tone.
