Nike Applies Their Light Grey Paisley To The Air Force 1

With many of their paisley-adorned releases, Nike has been mindful of how they use the pattern — carefully selecting the colors and redesigning it almost entirely. Riddled with Swooshes and ever-so-slightly warped, this non-traditional take on the bandana print is dressing an extensive amount of silhouettes, including the Air Force 1.

Likely a part of the classic’s 40th Anniversary, the colorway starts as most AF1s do: in “Triple White.” The neutral is applied throughout the entire upper and bottom, outfitting the laces, lining, and tumbled leather paneling. The canvas along the Swoosh and heel tab, which feature the above-mentioned paisley, are similarly shaded, effectively backlighting the greyed out motifs stamped atop.

Enjoy a close-up look at this upcoming Air Force 1 “Paisley” via the official images below. As a release date is still TBD, it’s unsure when these will hit select retailers and Nike.com. For now, sit tight as we await more updates.
