Michael Le It’s confirmed by Nike themselves that the Air Jordan 11 is one of the company’s best-selling silhouettes, with 2021’s Retro of the “Cool Grey” being their biggest SNKRS release to date. And while the low-top trim of Tinker Hatfield’s beloved design may not garner as much acclaim, it continues to drop attractive colorways every Spring/Summer. This year, “Pure Violet” joins this season’s catalog, taking the helm of a welcome women’s exclusive.
Unlike the “72-10” that’s releasing in May, this pair evokes the feeling of Spring. Light in its palette, the upper starts with the above-mentioned “Pure Violet,” brushing it along the entire patent leather mudguard. White dresses the rest of the upper as well as the adjacent branding; and though the midsole may follow suit, the outsole and shank underfoot opt for an icy blue and blackened carbon fiber, respectively.
