This Fall-Colored Nike Air Force 1 Mid Is “Certified Fresh”

To get the Air Force 1 ready for its 40th Birthday, Nike has freshened the silhouette up with a drove of new colorways and collaborations. And after a number of Spring-ready options, the brand is now preparing for Fall 2022, kicking things off with this earth-toned Mid.

“Certified Fresh” as indicated by the backside of the tongue and sockliner, this pair is built of relatively unusual materials. The deep brown base, for instance, features an unevenly woven canvas, which features imperfections throughout the toe, mid-panel, and collar. Over top, black tumbled leathers proffer an atypical sheen, whose effect is not too unlike the patina of aged kicks. Finally, standard panels round out the shoe by way of the Swoosh/heel tab and “Sail” furthers the vintage feel across the midsole.

Enjoy a close-up look at this upcoming Air Force 1 Mid right here, and sit tight as we’ll be seeing it on Nike.com and at select retailers this Fall.

In other news, a JJJJound ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 is on the way.
