Tinker Hatfield’s Nike Air Max 90 has undergone various updates since its debut in 1990. Its latest – dubbed Futura and exclusive to women – takes an off-road-inspired, future-thinking approach.

Recently, the modern-day update merged in a mix of fall-friendly tones, with a “Midnight Navy” and “Medium Olive” combination leading the charge. Non-standard TPU panels along the tongue work in-tandem with the non-traditional profile swooshes, pull tabs at the tongue and heel, overlays along the profiles and choice in materials to deliver an experimental makeover to the popular Air Max model. Underfoot, sole units don’t opt for any updates, donning light gum brown traction as the finishing touch to the cool weather-appropriate footwear option.
