Bianca Chandôn Covers Its Vault By Vans Collection In “Aged” Detailing

Bianca Chandôn Covers Its Vault By Vans Collection In “Aged” Detailing

Over the course of its history, the Vault by Vans team has collaborated with dozens of strategic and creative partners to produce future-thinking footwear rooted in heritage. Recently, Alex Olson’s Bianca Chandôn imprint has joined the storied roster of collaborators of the original action sports brand.

Comprised of four shoes, Olson’s collection with the “OFF THE WALL” institution features an all-over star pattern inspired by Vans‘ iconic checkerboard print. Because of its affinity for anti-fashion movements of the 1990s, as well as fandom for the countercultures of the ’70s and club scene of the ’80s, Bianca Chandôn applies a beat-up aesthetic to the Sk8-Hi Reissue VLT LX, Old Skool VLT LX, Authentic VLT LX and Classic Slip-on VLT LX included in the upcoming capsule. Laces, midsoles and other components across each pair don a worn look that couples with the “hand-written” “Bianca Chandôn” text at the heel to nod to the past.

Enjoy campaign imagery of the pairs ahead, and anticipate a launch via Bianca Chandôn, Vault by Vans retailers and Vans.com on August 20th and 23rd.
