A sequel to the “Recess” collection that hit shelves earlier in the year, the Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 2 “Playground” was revealed in two colorways back in September. The collection as a whole laments the end of summer, celebrating the season’s hooping traditions in a way that doubles as an homage to the legacy of Penny Hardaway himself as well as his signature sneakers.
