The Reebok Floatride Energy Argus X Blends Form And Function

Some of the most interesting sneaker releases of the last half-decade have come straight from the halls of Reebok, who have maintained momentum through both their inline catalog as well as collaborative dealings with the likes of Maison Margiela, KANGHYUK, and Street Fighter, to name a few. The brand is constantly expanding upon their line-up, too, and for the Fall/Winter, they’re delivering a brand new, fashion-focused model: the Floatride Energy Argus X.

A 50/50 blend of form and function, the Floatride Energy Argus X — as its name suggests — is cushioned with the footwear brand’s signature Floatride technology, which has outfitted several silhouettes over the course of the last few years. One in particular, the Floatride Energy X, is the closest in DNA to the aforementioned newcomer, as the runner lends its own sole unit to its precious descendent. Not all is familiar, though, thanks to a series of contemporary details, such as the multi-lacing system and the meticulously molded TPU shield.

For a closer look at the Floatride Energy Argus X, which is currently available overseas in four colorways, see below. This pair, the “Core Black,” should soon be releasing through stateside retailers as well as Reebok.com relatively soon.

In other news, the Reebok Answer DMX Black/Gold is dropping soon.
