The Nike Cortez Enjoys A Georgetown Makeover

The Nike Cortez Enjoys A Georgetown Makeover

While the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary has taken the main stage, one of the brand’s most recognizable silhouettes too is enjoying a hallmark year, currently celebrating its 50th year in rotation. As such, sacai and UNION LA have dominated the Nike Cortez’s releases whereas its latest construction may be hinting at an influx of inline propositions.

Having expressed their obsession for the Hoyas this year through an Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 and recently debuted Nike Terminator, the celebratory silhouette is now harkening Georgetown’s staple hues. Anchored by a clad suede upper, the pre-worn ensemble first indulges in a dominant dark grey outfit, accented by vintage cream-colored laces and its mesh tongue construction. Dark navy’s enter the fold through outfitting the smooth leather midfoot Swooshes and “NIKE” branded heel tabs whereas the tucked away insoles proffer a titular orange extension. Underfoot, the aged aesthetic above is mirrored through a “Sail” and navy midsole while the pair’s serrated tread finishes with a crips white outsole.

While we sit tight on further release details from the brand, enjoy official images of the Nike Cortez “Georgetown” below in the meantime.
