Jeremy Scott Makes It Rain With The adidas Superstar

Jeremy Scott Makes It Rain With The adidas Superstar

Everyone knows Jeremy Scott to be an eccentric designer, and his collaborations with adidas — both old and new alike — more than illustrate this. Scott shows no restraints even when it comes to iconic silhouettes, evidenced by this upcoming, newly-revealed take on the Superstar.

Evolving the design language of his previous work — namely, the several “Money” colorways released over the years — the upcoming Jeremy Scott x adidas Superstar plays not only with the shoe’s colorway but also its very construction. The tongue has been elongated to exaggerated proportions, folding out from underneath the laces strung over top. Elsewhere, the rest of the upper is much more tame by comparison, painted over with a blue-based, money-covered print. Shell toes, stripes, and midsoles instead opt for a white finish, while the adjacent branding flaunts a luxe gilding.

For a closer look at Jeremy Scott’s next adidas offering, see below. According to EU retailers, a release date is scheduled for December 21st.

In other news, KITH Salomon XT-6 colorways are landing later this week.
