The Nike Air More Uptempo Slide Cozies Up In White And Black

The Nike Air More Uptempo saw somewhat of a resurgence last year, with notable figures the likes of Cactus Plant Flea Market and Asspizza previously making references to the Wilson Smith design. And now, in 2023, the Swoosh themselves are further uplifting the silhouette, both in original and slide form.

Surfacing in the first few weeks of the new year, the Nike Air More Uptempo Slide is slowly expanding upon its inaugural catalog, referencing some of the OG model’s prior offerings. And alongside the “Black/White,” which was revealed at the tail end of last month, the slide is also preparing a “White/Black” colorway. Here, the lighter of the two neutrals dresses the base — outfitting the footbed and much of the exterior — while its tonal opposite emboldens the Uptempo’s signature “AIR” lettering. Red is present as well, albeit only via the miniature Swoosh embroidered onto the midfoot.
