Nike Adds Indigenous Attitude To This Air Force 1 Low

Nike Adds Indigenous Attitude To This Air Force 1 Low

Nike has explored far and wide for inspiration in design, but it doesn’t need to look too far. As seen in the annual N7 program, which dedicates profits to aboriginal communities, this Air Force 1 Low could also be an homage to the indigenous people of the continent through use of colors, patterns, and materials not often seen in other inline release.

On the heel is an ornate patchwork of geometric shapes and intricate patterns typical seen in hand-crafted quilts with aboriginal origins. The loose, frilly thread ends further mirrors the aesthetic, while the multi-colored contrast stitching on the Swoosh logo and midsole adds the finishing touches to this spirited design.

A full capsule of Nike Sportswear footwear with the same design patterns and techniques will be releasing this Fall 2023; see the official images of the AF-1 ahead and keep your eyes open for more members of this limited release.
