Jovani Hernandez Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Nike Air Force 1 Low continues to take on new styles as part of its 40th anniversary campaign.
Experimental color-blocking is a common sight on the “presidential” silhouette, but so are simple, straightforward ensembles. Recently, the old school basketball sneaker emerged covered in a chocolate brown hue. Panels from the forefoot to upper heel indulge in the deep, rich tone, although profile swooshes interrupt the uniform finish with their white contrast. Branding on the tongue label and spine also follow suit, as do the laces. Underfoot, the low-top Air Force 1‘s tried-and-proven sole unit keeps things on-theme with a two-tone arrangement that brings the upper’s colors below.
